Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) announces the appointment of its new CEO, Mr. Jean-Baptiste De Ruyck. This important step marks a new era of leadership and stability for the company.

Beaulieu International Group is investing €5 million to convert the fossil energy supply of its Cushion Vinyl production plant in Wielsbeke, Belgium, to biomass-generated steam; a transition to renewable energy. To this end, B.I.G. Is teaming up with A&U Energie, a company specialized in converting non-recyclable wood waste into green energy and heat. This strategic move is in line with B.I.G.'s goal of becoming 'net zero' by 2030.

B.I.G. reports its financial results for the year 2023, during which the company faced a series of challenging economic conditions that had a significant impact on performance.

Flexible vinyl is a particularly strong type of material, few other materials are as versatile, durable, reliable and yet as flexible. However, it has been proven difficult to incorporate recycled content in flexible vinyl applications. That's why the DISSOLV project was initiated. This project aims to increase recycled components in flexible vinyl applications by replacing some of its virgin components, such as PVC resin, polyester fibers, fillers, and plasticizers, with recycled materials.

The long-awaited moment has finally arrived: Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) opens the doors of its brand-new Experience Center in Wielsbeke. Remaining close to the roots where the family business originated over 60 years ago, Beaulieu has constructed this state-of-the-art sustainable business hub. Not only does the new Experience Center showcase all the various solutions the Group offers, it also provides new office spaces for numerous employees.

At a special works council and staff meetings held today, the Beaulieu Flooring Solutions business unit of Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) announced its intention to discontinue the production and sales activities of the Mats division as well as the production of the Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) division.  If confirmed, the intention will involve a total of 95 Belgian employees.
