Corporate

Today, Beaulieu International Group (B.I.G.) hosted its Sustainability Forum: “Stepping Stones to a Sustainable Future” at the Experience Center in Wielsbeke. This event brought together partners, clients, and industry peers to discuss how collaboration can help the industry become a driving force behind a green transformation.

“We are fully committed to a sustainable future for our group, and by extension, the entire industry. But we can’t do it alone. On the contrary, we need everyone”, says Clara Carelli, Sustainability Director at Beaulieu. “That’s why it’s important for us to unite partners to take action and shape sustainable living, together.”

The agenda featured a rich variety of sessions. Professor Wayne Visser from the University of Cambridge, a globally recognized expert on the impact of business on nature and society, delivered an inspiring keynote.

Following, representatives from Hilti Group, Decathlon Belgium, and BSH Home Appliances Group provided valuable outside-in perspectives on circularity models. They discussed key strategies for achieving net-zero emissions, maintaining economic activity within planetary boundaries, and building subscription business models focused on circularity.

Next to that, our participants actively engaged in hands-on workshops tackling climate change and social responsibility, brainstorming actionable solutions for a sustainable future.

Overall, it was an inspiring day filled with best practice exchanges and collaborative planning for a greener tomorrow!

Let’s collaborate and let’s shape sustainable living together!
