Who is Ellen MacArthur?
Dame Ellen MacArthur is a long-distance yachtswoman and Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Her solo journeys around the world sparked a deep understanding of the planet’s finite resources and the urgent need to manage them sustainably. In 2009, she began collaborating with executives, experts, scientists, and economists to study the global economy, ultimately founding the Ellen MacArthur Foundation. The Foundation’s mission centers on decoupling economic growth from resource exhaustion and rebuilding natural capital, engaging stakeholders across industries.
Through its partnership with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, B.I.G. reinforces its commitment to shaping a sustainable living, together, leveraging shared expertise to make meaningful strides in the circular economy!
